Do you keep the dogs in runs?

No we do not have runs or kennels. We only take a very small amount of dogs. We do pet sitting on the premises. They stay in our apartment with us. They have the patio to go outside and go potty when they want. They must be spayed/Neutered and friendly.

Will my cat be in a cage the whole time?

No, We do let each individual cat come out and run around a few times a day if they want. It is up to each individual cat. Some will come out and play on the scratch posts or sit on the furniture and some prefer the safety of their cat condo.
Cats enjoy the "protected" feeling they get from being placed in a cat condo while being boarded. Your cat will probably want to sit in the bed of his condo and look out the window or watch everyone, until he feels comfortable in the new environment.  It has to take place at the cat's own speed. A common reaction of cat owners to the idea of boarding is "kitty loves to run around." Perhaps he does at home, but while he is in unfamiliar surroundings, his condo gives him a feeling of safety. Cats do not mingle with other cats.. each cat has their own time to come out, we do not let other cats out with your cat, just one cat at a time.

Can I visit my pet while boarding?

Visits to boarding pets are not recommended. It is often very disturbing and stressful for your pet who is trying to adjust to a new place and new people. When they see you they think they are going home and when you leave without them it causes stress and confusion. After your visit, the cat or dog may often cry for days, or not eat properly, therefore, it makes it difficult for us to make your pet’s stay enjoyable and for us to earn their trust.
If you would like we can take photos of your pet and e-mail them to you while they are here.. Just request it.

Do I need to bring my pets food?

Dog's we prefer you do so they dont have any problems adjusting to a new food. But if they are not sensitive and they are not on a special diet no. We provide food for our dog and cat guests. We have Iams, Whiskas and Nutro dry and moist.
And we always have Tuna (in water)  as a special treat for our feline guests.

Do cats and dogs stay in the same area?

No, they have completely seperate areas. The cats have their own kitty motel.
